2023 Purse for Elite Riders

Elite riders play an essential role in BMX in South Africa.

This purse would be awarded to the top eight riders of the day, meaning that all riders who make it to the final gate will receive an award structured as f

ollows:

1st place : R3 000

2nd place: R1 700

3rd place: R800

4th-8th place: R300

This amounts to a total purse of R7,000 per race & R120,000 annually.

All Gauteng Provincial races will award, a minimum Pro Purse of R7 000.00 will be awarded to the top eight (8) riders in the Elite Class only for each of the Sixteen (16) races, however, to qualify for the Pro Purse you will have to race both the Club Race and the Gauteng Race on the day.

NOTE: This is the minimum award pay out, should there be additional sponsorship/gratuities on the day then the Pro Purse will be changed accordingly.
